Designed for high-pressure vessels and high-pressure applications, ASTM A182 Duplex S31803 Slip On Flanges can withstand temperatures as high as 150 degrees Celsius in chloride-rich environments. There are welded, bolted, and threaded flanges available for this material grade. Threaded flanges are commonly used when welding is not desired. Duplex SAF 2205 Socket Weld Flanges, which use a socket welded on them for strength, are a type that is commonly used.
