It is exclusively developed to be corrosion resistant in high temperatures and is available in stainless steel 310/310L/310H round bars. A special feature of this grade is the ability to resist oxidation up to a temperature of 1100 degrees Celsius. This grade is a good quality chromium-nickel alloy that exhibits good sulfidation resistance and is suitable for use in carburizing atmospheres since it contains a large percentage of chromium. Overall, the 310 grade of steel is a highly versatile metal that can be used in a variety of welding and fabrication situations.

310/310L/310H is a lower carbon version of the alloy, and 310H is a low carbon version of the alloy. With its high carbon content, the 310H is able to enhance its increased creep properties in tough situations, so that the creep time is shorter and greater. There is no doubt that the 310 grades provide good temperature corrosion resistance under the harshest of environmental conditions.
