This stainless steel plate and sheet is composed of Titanium stabilized stainless steel with good mechanical properties and is available in plate or sheet form. In addition, these stainless steel plates and sheets offer excellent corrosion resistance and excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposing them to the chromium carbide range of temperatures for a short period of time. There are also higher creep and stress rupture properties of these alloys when compared to those of other alloys. As well as their high strength and good low-temperature toughness, stainless steel 321/321H plates also provide excellent corrosion resistance. As well as using these 321h plates at medium temperatures, these plates can also be used in diluted organic acids. In addition to these features, they also provide some other benefits, such as high tensile strength, durability, precise design, and so on.

As a basic austenitic stainless steel material, 321 and 321H stainless steel plate are the most commonly used. As a result of the addition of Titanium to these grades, they are stabilized. There is a wide range of applications that can be carried out by these grades at temperatures up to 1,650 °F. A plate grade such as this provides high strength, increased corrosion resistance, and phase stability, as well as resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion because of the combination of features. In most cases, the 304L plate is more readily available in the most form of products than the 321 or 321H plate, and thus it is generally used in preference to the 321 or 321H plate if the requirement is simply for resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding. In spite of this, 304L has a lower heat strength than 321 and 321H plate, and therefore may not be the best choice if you are looking for a plate that is capable of withstanding operating temperatures above about 932°F.
