Super Duplex S32750 Flanges

These Flanges are made from a family of duplex steels known as super duplex steel, with a microstructure of both austenitic and ferritic grades. They are distinguished by their higher chromium and molybdenum content, thereby offering higher corrosion resistance properties than standard grades. Its dual-phase microstructure provides high strength with economic corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich environments. As opposed to other types of standard grades, these flanges have a reduced alloying cost. For example, the alloy UNS S32750 has a mixed microstructure consisting of both austenite and ferrite, which are mixed evenly. Over ferritic and austenitic steel grades, Super Duplex Flanges have higher tensile strengths because of this factor. Duplex grades differ in the primary sense that Super Duplex Steel Flanges Material contains a higher proportion of molybdenum and chromium in its alloy than standard duplex grades.
